Learn how to draft patterns based on your own measurements and make a skirt, bodice and pant sloper.
A sloper is a master or foundation pattern that is used as the basis for all other pattern design development. Drafting your own pattern based on your measurements allows a perfect and unique fit which not only is the perfect basis for further pattern developement but also helps you understand your body and fit.
In each class you will finish the course with an individually drafted pattern based on your own measurements.
In the class you will:
- learn how to take measurements correctly
- learn how to draft a sloper (bodice, skirt or pants) according to your individual measurements
- learn how to put the master pattern to use and prepare the pattern for the first muslin
- learn how and where you can manipulate the sloper for design elements.
Paper is included, drafting supplies are provided.
